Short Story

There is a girl staring at the mirror. This girl is conflicted because of her two halves.  She has a puppet, and she has a shining star.  She shows the puppet instead of the shining star.  The puppet dictates her fake persona. Once the puppet is loose from her strings, the puppet shows her hidden gem. This shining star that is hidden from the world, is like an explosion of dynamite. While her puppet shows her to be timid, anxious, defensive, and always alert, her shining star shows her to be hyper, happy, loud, free spirited, and fun-loving.  This shining star is stuck behind the mirror.  The star wants to burst into more stars, but is locked. One day, there's a shatter that breaks down the barrier. The mirror is finally broken.  The mirror is starting to break open in the middle like snow drifting apart.   Her shining star is now loose, and is flying, trying to multiply.  As it begins to circle like a meteorite, it’s shot down. Something is now blocking its way.  A giant, rectangular brick wall is now in the little star's path.  All of the girl’s problems emerged, and started to build up a tight brick wall.  That was because of her puppet’s doing.  The cold front is here.  Her shooting star has to be quiet until the warmer days.  When the warm sunshine appears, the puppet will be tossed away, and the brick wall will come down for the shooting star to become fireworks.  The cycle continues, and continues.
