(Sighs) What is
the world actually coming to? I was
looking at a news article online, and apparently people are now making Halloween
Ebola Costumes. EBOLA COSTUMES. This
could be either taken as really funny to some people, or really upsetting to
others.
To me, I’m a
mixed bag. I feel like it could be a
really smart marketing move, but it could also be a really bad one too. Ebola is the “it” disease at the moment
because it is one of the things everyone is talking about in the media as of
the past few months. There are scared
people, and there are people actually making fun of it in the media.
A good example of Ebola being made fun of was
a few weeks ago, on Saturday Night Live. Ebola is almost like repeat of the
AIDS craze in the 1980’s. Even though
there is lots of craziness going on with Ebola, hopefully we will get a vaccine
soon, so the rest of America isn’t affected.
